Here are some great pics of tea horse road sculptures in Ya’an and Kangding in Sichuan by Han Deya 韩德雅 (b. 1952), a Chinese landscape painter and sculptor from Mingshan County, Ya’an, Sichuan province.
There are 108 figure sculptures that create and weave stories of tea, horses, human interactions, survival and trade routes.
Here is a selection of sculptures from Ya’an, located some 120 kilometers west of Chengdu, the provincial capital of Sichuan.
The following sculptures are in Kangding, a town in the Gaze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western Sichuan province.
